Getting an approval 3 months after receiving a letter of interest is comical. Picking such a ridiculous time frame reveals this persons ignorance. In my digging I found it can take between 5 months to 2.5 years depending on the type (financing, working capital, loan guarantee, etc) and size of the loan and only found that in and very outdated document. Quick turnaround for EXIM loans seems to be 5 to 9 months. The very long times of over a year were for very large loans (large as in the ones Boeing gets for near or over a billion dollars) with more risk. My best guess is the EXIM loans requested by CoolTech or VerdeWatts is a medium loan and that the Mexico request could take up to a year but the Nigeria mobile microgrid sale by VerdeWatts should be on the shorter side because EXIM approved a loan to VerdeWatts to sell a microgrid (not a mobile version) early in the year.

But it doesn't really matter whether CoolTech gets its EXIM loan for the Mexico deal. VerdeWatts has several loan requests to EXIM for mobilemicro grid sales and they are sharing 40% gross revenue of those sales with CoolTech as part of their strategic alliance.

VerdeWatts CEO understands how to submit requests for EXIM loans and what type of loans they approve because he used to be on the board that decided whether loans will be approved and is still well liked and respected by EXIM.

I am inferring EXIM's relationship with Steve based on the fact that in in May he was one of 5 invited speakers on a panel discussing loans for renewable energy (33 minutes in). He mentions that mobile micro grid and that it is in demand around the world but the problem is getting financing to get the product around the world. In that call he noted that EXIM should look at decreasing the time it takes to obtain approval.
On this call Steve mentions that mobile microgrids are in demand. You can hear this on the recording of the call. Its the second call from the top and Steve speaks ~33 minutes into the call.

He also recently tweeted that he will be a panelist on the renewable energy energy discussion at he EXIM annual meeting.

On 8/17/20 Turkdrs posted "They have a truck!!! Look at their website!! Buy now!!!"
Later that same day and ever since they been very negative on the stock.
My guess is they sold a bunch between the time of the first and second post on 8/17.
