Watching this discussion makes me want to point out what I consider a salient fact.

Anavex is pursuing a new and unproven MOA for treating a very difficult medical area i.e. CNS disease.

The market and many investors still see this as an unproven approach that is in conflict with current orthodoxy. That equals high risk in their minds.

We, of the board, have spent much more time learning about the science details and the trial information available so we have a better appreciation of the risk vs reward ratio.

The "market" will catch up to our level of understanding when trial results from a controlled trial come in showing that the MOA is validated. That will get the attention of conservative biotech investor community.

Anavex is on the bleeding edge of the science postulating a new paradigm. It's lonely on the bleeding edge.

I am reminded of Rothchild's answer when asked how he made his money...I bought to late and sold too soon.
