Raf, HDG made a good point to me though that this case may not be about Vascepa revenue for the generics, as it would be one of many drugs they sell.

Perhaps instead it could be seen instead as a huge precedent case that makes it easier to infringe on future patents of brand drugs.

So they might see it as a loss leader now, knowing they won't get huge ROI from REDUCE-IT, but case-law they can reference for other patent cases down the line.

We're a one-drug company so this is everything to us, but the generics are huge and could have entirely different goals. This is why I continue to believe settlement is not going to happen. JMO
