I reclaimed some of my youth when I read a Scottish study regarding 15,000 steps (aka: not 10,000) a day staving off metabolic syndrome. Combining that with intermittent fasting (bone broth), In less than six months, I reversed high BP, pre-diabetes (ok early diabetes), high cholesterol, obesity, high liver enzymes, high resting heart rate and a couple other symptoms associated with metabolic syndrome. No running, mostly walking and minor biking and a little weightlifting/swimming (very little team sports). Lots of hills where I live, so easy to get heart rate up. Read the study. It changed my health in short order. It’s easier to get those steps than you think, although try to accomplish most of them with pace. I learned along the way to increase daily protein and fiber.

BP is probably going to...... thud. smile
