Penny,
Actually, I retired as a "chicken" Colonel. But, my class bestowed the nickname "Lt. General" on me during our 2nd year and the it was shortened to "LTG" by the time we were commissioned. Long story to it, but apparently I walked and talked like a certain Marine that marched among the ranks back in the day.
