Another biotech I (unfortunately) own, NAVB, had an activist investor group overthrow the existing BOD, but they had an organizer who got big and small retail shareholders, which included a 'tute, to sign up on some kind of list and agree they would all vote the same way - not sure who is capable of doing that here. You don't get to give an opinion on the proxy vote as to why you're voting the way you did. Speaking of which, I own AMRN in 3 separate accounts, only got one email from TDA and one control vote - do they send out a single proxy for TDA clients who own a stock in both an IRA and a taxable account? Haven't gotten anything from the other broker where I have a different taxable account. BTW, the DOJ approved the merger of Schwab and TDA today - get ready for some changes if you have a TDA account or two, hopefully not bad ones.
