To echo some previous comments...
The right answer is what they are getting out of it, not what they are putting into it
I posted what they are getting out of it, and it appears to be somewhat less than what INTC is getting. Draw your own conclusions. In terms of what INTC is putting into it, I can't find any recent links, but I believe:
No SOI
Standard litho, reuse 65nm equipment
improvement in ILD
I believe AMD/IBM has traditionally been more aggresive with low-k in the ILD, so I suspect this will be true at 45nm as well.
If I were to venture a guess based on what I have seen, AMD/IBM is more likely to hit the schedules they have talked about than I previously thought... but I also believe the products produced will be pretty lackluster.
