That is true, but how many were quarantined for getting the flu versus getting the Coronavirus? Looks like those that get the Coronavirus are 80 times more likely to die from it than the flu. That may be due to some of those that contracted the flu had received a flu shot, even if it was for a different strain. Speaking of flu shots, they don't always keep you from getting the flu and there are several flu strains. They change the vaccine each year to combat the strain(s) that was(were) most prevalent the year before. They age of those died are not always released so we don't know if the Coronavirus is more lethal in healthy young adults, or the elderly and unhealthy like the flu. People that contract the flu will typically know when they're sick and can avoid contact with other people, but someone could be contagious with the Coronavirus for 2 weeks without signs and can be contagious. It is a stealthy virus for sure.
