I'm looking to buy a new laptop and wonder if anyone here can give me some recommendations. I'm a daytrader, but otherwise just an average user. I'd like to keep cost under $1,000. Love my current laptop, an Acer TravelMate (recommended by Bruce Thompson) with WinXP which is 12 yrs old now and I need more power for newer programs. Need a laptop with dual-core or more and at least 2.06GHz running Win10.

Any suggestions? Anyone? TIA
