Put your tinfoil hat back on dude. If you own shares of any stock in a cash-only account your broker must get your permission to loan out your shares and give you part of the interest - if you have a margin account, even if you're not using any margin, every stock in that account is fair game - even if you bought a given stock with cash, your broker can lend any stock w/o your permission - it's in the fine print of the margin account agreement.
