DBMM won the initial decision.
Samantha filed a petition for review... in no way does this change the fact that the initial decision was decided in DBMM’s favor.
These are two separate actions.
In fact this was Samantha’s last, and only option. A very weak option. Similar to making the final backwards move into the corner to avoid checkmate for one last turn.
To use the chess analogy.
Samantha is trapped in a corner with only her King left, one move away from checkmate. No options left.
DBMM has her surrounded with Miranda (King) and Judge Foelaks inital decision (Queen) ready to destroy her.
