I believe NWBO is potentially an 80 billion dollar business and in the end much more, probably in the 100’s of billions. This may take years, but Cancer is only the beginning, and certainly well beyond glioblastoma; glio is simply the proof of concept by fixing the worst of the worst as all Cancers would come next. Viral diseases are notorious killers also, mostly related to inadequate immune response, especially in lower socioeconomic sectors of the world. As global networks and economic alliances expand the desire and the need for more sophisticated and cheaper treatments for immune modulated diseases will increase, and a company like NWBO could be the Apple or Amazon of medicine. I believe Linda Powers thinks on this level, and I believe she will not sell out for anything less than what she sees as necessary for that kind of future. I believe there’s a bit of philanthropy in her ambitions and the reason that NWBO has weathered the same kind of storms that many, many small biotechs have succumbed to is that Ms. Powers has a much, much bigger ambition, and a much, much bigger dogged belief that what they have is an absolute game changer. No rational human being would expose themselves to such ridicule and such abuse as she has in regard to shareholders. It may come with the territory but I’m telling you, most wealthy do gooders and most greedy self absorbed narcissists would have walked away by now, taking with them as much as possible as the ship sank. There is more than a subtle hint in her perseverance.
