We will see but not likely. REDUCE-IT label looks like more stronger than MARINE label. (Both as infringement and patent validity.)

The recent patent attack on Amarin really smacks of an an attack on the whole patent system...Is a patent a protection or just a fig leaf?

Why? Do you think every patents are valid, are a real patent? (Generally ... not the patents in the current case.) A lot of patents were invalidated over the years and no problem with that.

A real/ valid patents are a protection … the rest is a fig leaf.
