It seems to me that Amarin's argument should be that they believed as inventors, that the Jelis trial was not flawed and was indicative to them of the possibility that EPA would be a viable drug, but that the rest of the scientific and medical community viewed it as flawed, and not worth pursuing and therefore EPA was not "obvious"! Should be easy to create a very long list of medical and other contemporary articles belittling the findings of the Jelis study, therefore not "obvious".

All it takes for evil to prevail is for a few good men to do nothing.
