Thanks so much for your detailed commentary on the presentation given by Lebby. Much appreciated. I want to ask , did you see anything in there that would......make you nervous, as another poster Garbone commented today.....

"that he was a little troubled by graph 2 on slide 46. It shows power usage increasing after just 83 days of use."

Wanted to get your technical response to his statement, if you would kindly indulge us.

Vpi is a pretty forgiving parameter. +/-5% does not concern me at all. The level of variability is very minor IMO.

Power dissipation is only one aspect of performance indirectly affected by Vpi, albeit an important one. Maintaining a stable modulator DC bias point which directly affects the modulation performance is a more critical issue. The variance shown in the graph would have a negligible impact on modulator performance IMO.
