I do think that for some "psychiatric" issues, depression being the most likely, 2-73 could be a cure as it may reset the system to a normal balance that can be maintained without the drug.

In the case of something like Rett Syndrome there is genetic damage which probably can not be reversed.

Just two examples, just IMO.

Additional research will be needed in this regard and that would be the purpose of long term and P4 trials, to get it all sorted out.
