bfost ...What is your interpretation of Clinical ASCVD. My Kaiser Cardiologist is reading that as secondary prevention ( prior event ) only....and will only prescribe as such plus T2 diabetics with 1 additional risk factor ......if FDA approves a label as per NLA statement .

Re some of the other comments by other board readers .
My wife is affiliated with the UC medical system ...UCSF etc ...which is where I'll probably be moving to unless I can get better results from Kaiser.
Kaiser is a lot more convenient for me than UCSF ...but perhaps not if I can't get them to cover Vascepa....especially if they won't cover after FDA approval

bfost ......I would appreciate your interpretation of Clinical ASCVD .....is that only secondary prevention ( ie you had to have had a prior event ) ?
