and semi-independent futures for these companies!

(Much less the concept of "free money" and JR being very generous with loyal stockholders who have sttod by him!)

why so much concern about "getting" the dividend? the stock will trade publically just like any other company and ANYONE can purchase it just like any other company after it starts trading. who cares if you get it via the dividend or by purchasing it.

This poster has been following the discussion there for quite some time, never indicated if LONG (or no pos, or short), and has pointed out to others that some questions were asked & ANSWERED. ...more baffling than most all other posters... a detached voyeur, perhaps?
