What language is this?

"Disposed beneficial ownership." Really? The shares threw away their owners? Or the owners of shares threw away their shares? What is this?

I think the word they're looking for is: SELL. They "sold" their shares.

Orwell called this form of lying: "doublespeak."

Could they really believe this nonsense works? Don't they understand that the analysts reward honesty and punish B.S. like this?
