downregul8 no disrespect intended but you having an engineering background and have no idea what you are talking about with regard to deadlines for a company with so much tech and so little manpower not to mention deep pockets.
It is very different in the laboratory especially when dealing with proteins and nano amounts of this or that which can change everything on a dime.

If you do not like the way things are run bail.
I have said that over and over.
Lots of folks here do not like me for saying that but there it is in black and white.

I happen to think Marcus knows what he is talking about because I have been there myself. You on the other hand
DO have some insight but you lack the experience of actually having worked in that environment. So if you still think Malcolm can just be rigid and do things on a schedule as HE
sees things YOU ARE WRONG. Flexiblilty in this type of work is critical. Not everything is set in stone. Things DO take time.
Things do change on a dime.
