It was December of 2015 when I last had a transaction, a buy, with IAU.
That was at $10.38. While those and some previous buys are "profitable"
I've not had the price rise enough to actually take any profits. Price is
now less than 10% away from a Sell. Further, it represents less than 5% of
the UBA retirement account, so hasn't been exactly killing performance
there.
It would be nice to raise some cash with a Sell. The portfolio position has
been fully invested all of this time with no reserves. At least then it
would open up the opportunity to cyclically trade the range we've seen for
a very long time.
Buy from the Scared; Sell to the Greedy.....
