Well, at a quick glance, Torch appears to be legit. It is my first biz day home so I have to run soon. I know a bit about the oil patch, well quite a bit. Although, I don't know why anyone would take a 66% WI on a mineral lease, unless they plan on operating and syndicating. Which is possible. But why not a ORI on the same lease? That would be a key.
