So, in order to get a country to change it’s behavior we are going to punish our own consumers (paying higher prices/new tax), force a record number of farmers into bankruptcy, close down existing markets for our products (some of which Will NOT return after the tariffs are removed), take money from consumers and have the government choose which businesses(farming) will receive that money. All in hopes that a country with a history of playing the long game, will bow down to the US.
Remember, China can wait, wait and wait on this. DT must have a resolution in the next 12 months, or else.
