No doubt about it, these deep subsalt wells are highly challenging. I too would like to have a bit more info on what happened at Tau or at least what can be gained from drilling that series of bores.

The extra casing strings and resulting limitations on maximum depth (if I understood their communication on that) are pretty easily understood as luck of the draw on any wildcat

The conditions surrounding the mud losses could be a lot clearer IMO

specifically, does the drilling data gathered in that section help to avoid a repeat in a sidetrack or nearby bore?

and of course, what is the bottom line on Canoe's production potential? Can GSPE raise the needed capitol by selling Canoe if the data shows it has decent potential?
