Chemist, Kaiser is very proactive in finding, refining, researching and adjusting their coverages based on facts and numbers. I believe they are scrutinizing all available data before adjusting V on their formulary. Like many other insurance groups, they may wait until after FDA label decisions are made before adjusting formularies. If you qualify for Vascepa under current indication, you can appeal to have V covered. Kaiser denied my off label request through my PCP because trigs were not high enough and that is only indication they will approve case by case. Good luck.
