Two things:

If BP (specifically Pfizer) wants to buy Amarin, they will. They will throw an obscene amount of money at Amarin that the BOD / shareholders will not be able to refuse and it's game over. I don't know what that number is, but I'm 100% certain that it exists. Is it $30 billion? $40 billion? Certainly $50 billion would do it.

A partnership with Pfizer would not surprise me and actually makes most sense. One thing is certain to me: Amarin will not GIA in Europe. So at the very least there will be a partner / BO there.
