Not sure I follow, a cop out? It seems the more knowledge science gathers in reference to CI’s and other therapy’s, the less false hope, time, money wasted. Also perhaps giving an alternative treatment or clinical study a valid opportunity if it is determined a certain treatment is likely ineffective. I do not consider this cherry picking.
