Thanks for your insights. I really don’t know much about corporate finance, and defer to you on this.

I agree that the idea that BP is some kind of boogie man that actively destroys future competition through Wallstreet is a little far fetched, but I don’t totally discount the possibility. Most large pharma companies do have cash in investments which can include start up biotechs. Sometimes these investments are large enough to require reporting and sometimes not. Many BP executives also sit on boards for these start ups as well. I have also witnessed through biotech investing and in my career, small biotech running into regulatory difficulties with a drug/data which seem to disappear instantly after BP buy them cheap.

This experience with NWBO looks so gosh darn similar to what DNDN was put through before they failed in the commercial market. In that case there was a ginormous spike, like 20 fold increase, when they released their data and another huge jump when they received FDA approval. They were beat down to $1 for a long period befor eventual peaking above $50. I don’t know who was behind the beat down, but it was definitely there too.

I am expecting a repeat performance here.
