Obviously there is plenty of corruption within FDA and no doubt they sleep in one bed with big Pharma but again there is also growing lobbying behind the scenes for hemp and Marijuana within government as well. Remember that when we talk about CBD, that not only includes hemp but also Marijuana. If FDA says that CBD can be sold only as drug, then they should go and shut down all booming medical Marijuana dispensaries as well because obviously Marijuana consists CBD as well. You can't allow to sell 'bread' , but yet says that 'flour' that is inside bread is illegal to sell. This just doesn't make any sense.
We are lucky that we are dealing only with Epidolex and GWPH which is not even US company. Is FDA going to protect them and screw all US companies ? I really doubt. I think FDA could/should say that products with very high levels of CBD, close to 800g/ml should be considered as drug and limit this drug. It would be the simplest solution.
