My wife is an RN and she hasn't seen a doctor in years --- and I mean YEARS! She says they make their money on treating patients and all their return visits. And I as a patient feel she is 100% correct. Office visit and physicals are MONEY. Sick people are MONEY. Healthy ones are not. Yes, that is what happens in such a capitalistic society when all are competing for that notoriety of being wealthy. Doctor's don't become doctor's for the satisfaction of helping the unfortunate. They might have have years ago, but now its about the almighty dollar. She sees, in the surgical department, the competition between surgeons on who can operate on more patients and make more money. Sad, but happens in every profession when the SOLE reason for seeking position or certain employment is for mucho income.

The major reason we will see these products flourish and doctors recommend an/or prescribe, is if consumers (patients) demand the change in treatment of their pain AND/OR this suddenly loud outcry for an alternative to the liver damaging pain pills from this overdue rectifying of this opioid crisis is felt by all physicians when treating their patients' pain. --- Hit them in the pocket book, where it hurts.
