Bayer have partnered with a spin-off from MIT and there is also a spin off from Berkeley pursuing microbial fertilizer. Monsanto is partnering with Novozymes.

The KIWA website does not appear to highlight the number of patents held in a given country but they state their products are patent protected in many US press releases with further detail in filings.

Page 5 shows Chinese patents originating from links to China Agricultural University with two expiring in 2028.

I do not see US patents and am not aware of applications in the US or Europe. A partnership with an established fertilizer producer would likely be considered very favorably by the market and boost the KWBT share price.

For the China market, do you think Kiwa presents serious competition to CGA in the near future?
