I would agree if we were debating over a new machine versus a two year old machine, but these machines are out of date.
For the precision required to produce the quality and volume I hope the powers at Savi do not deem them adiquate.
Besides repair, maintenance, and replacement parts issues, the availability of labor qualified to operate and maintain these machines would be hard to find.
Nothing I have seen would pass an ISO9000 qualification, which would be required to produce parts for the US auto makers.
As as FL said, if this IS the stated R&D facility, I strongly urge the management to refrain from describing it as "state of the art".
