Pearlstein's article mostly parroted the 2014 PUMPER case; UK hype, HE in Germany. Four years later, none of that has amounted to anything.

His accusations on the short side just parrots CREW. No data. No evidence. No smoking gun. Just a lot of hot air.

When you have to publicly apologize because you cannot back up what you wrote, it shows that even a Pulitzer winner can have a really bad day at the office.
