Not totally true
You lose if the company goes bankrupt.
You lose even more if you finally do decide to sell and the pps is in the subpennies.
You lose because "time is money" and if you sit in a stock for years hoping it will go back up, you lose out on other investment opportunities.
Just look at current market..all time high while FUSZ sits on the bottom even though you can say it is up for the year. But it depends on when you bought in.
Believe me, I have done all the above, many a times over the last 35 years.
