LOL jablome. Myself, well decided to give GM one more try after they spited former shareholders with that GM bailout wiping out all stock few years back. Compared the Ford, Toyota, Dodge, etc all around same $$$... All of them having 2019's on lot now with MSRP's over $76,000.00 !! Can you believe it. Suburban priced at $102,000.00 even ! Saw Cadillac CTS for 2019 at $104K... Unbelievable...

But I have a unique situation and taking late model 2018 already 1 year old, crwew cab with full sized bed, sitting in lot in Pittsburgh they just brought in down here to NC for me. All total, will cost me $44,000.00 and change. Lot better than $70K which is where most are at right now.

But dealerships tells me it is normal right now seeing $1200.00 per month car payments and people are going out to 10 years even !!! Most have no money down or into leasing too... Not me. I got 20% cash down off $44K price level;, so my payment will be around $500.00/month...

See, here in NC, unless you have 20% equity into car, you need gap insurance (to cover the depreciating effect for new vehicle financed if you have an accident). I avoid all that extra cost. It is a scam on the general public by NC Insurance Commission. So many people in accidents, had no money down on new cars, then they have accident, and insurance does not cover all costs "losses" associated from that accident unless you got "gap coverage... or 20% or more equity ownership of vehicle..
