Silo thinking of BP lead to the failures. Someone on this board described the “Silo Compartment Scientific Thinking Processes” a few years ago. Maybe it was you in fact. But it may account for some of the failures of the past decades. Some of these Silos have been abandoned now. Shall they build new Silos or should they predict Phase 3 with AI then conduct precision Phase 3s to prove what was predicted by AI using the permutations of the Phase 2bs?
Anavex used a 32 bit analysis for P2a. For P2b it will be powered for 256 bit even with greater than expected drop out. Illumina and Ariana processes have come to fruition and evolution since Anavex began their process of discovery. Also the PET scan processes have come to fruition and evolution during this time as well.
What Anavex can do now might not have been possible when the P2b was started. Further FDA is Co-evolving as well with the new focus, guidance and new leadership.
Anavex May have been in the vanguard and other technologies and regulatory processes are coming together to replace the collapsed Silos of past CNS drug development.
I do not have to emphasis the difference between a 32 bit power to a 256 bit power to tech geeks but a 32 bit is your old retired clunky home computer. 256 bit is Watson or the latest Cray University or Government main frame super computer.
