Forget about the E on the stock symbol folks. I don't think FINRA is enforcing that. I've never seen the E attached to any stock symbol and I've checked multiple companies that are years behind in the reporting and none of them have an E attached (see CAFS, OMHE, CGFI, etc.). OTCBB is FINRA's quoting system for Market Makers and is not generally used for retail trading. Retail trading is done primarily on OTC Markets, which is owned and operated by a private company. In any event, other than the stop sign and/or potential downgrade to Pink from OTCQB, there are no other apparent ramifications if the company becomes current during the 30 day grace period.
It's perfectly rational to assume that setting up a new accounting system for California in conjunction with the departure of their CFO would cause delays in completing their quarterly financials.
