I've had a few crappy cheap ones over the years that turned into real businesses and could have been held. But not many. Too many pitfalls for peons like me in the rest of them. Usually lawsuits for back pay or legacy debt now that there's some money coming in. Or huge amounts of shares given to the new owners making the market cap ridiculously high.

So I learned to sell them on the merger/acquisition news if there's a nice spike. Some I've waited on for a very long time and when I sell it's tough to drop them off my holdings watchlist and say goodbye. Profit eases that though, if I'm lucky enough to get some
