Selling IS easy to a police department though it does take time and persistence, roughly 6 months from first correct contact to receipt of a purchase order. Those sales guys hired last Fall should have pipelines of quotes that should be turning into orders by now. Hopefully that is happening.

It is easy because it is easy to ID the customer and easy to ID the decision maker and easy to get this sort of thing on agendas and budgets and new business lists. Also easy because VirTra has a convincing and compelling pitch. And your own posts says to me that municipal/pd budgets are FLUSH with cash. Look at all the toys these police depts. are buying. Tons of stuff, much of it stupid, they have money to burn, might as well spend it on V300s.

Look at what is happening right now to property taxes (main funding source) across this country. Property taxes are exploding upward due to increased real estate valuations. Municipalities have more money coming in than they can correctly spend. My only point with all this is that the macro environment has never been better than it is now. Flush budgets, an aware public, nightly news that focuses on poor decisions by a few. If VirTra cannot capitalize now, then they never will.

Ferris is on an island right now. He is a one man show and it is his own fault. He put in place a do-nothing hands-off "yes man" sort of BOD that is not providing any help. He refuses to hire top talent to lead the sales organization. He continues to mess with outside IR help. And worst of all, because he is a one man show he took his eye off the revenue and earnings ball last Fall and all shareholders are paying the price.

Look, there is also a ton of good stuff going on with VirTra which is why I believe the future can still be bright and the stock do well. But Ferris needs to execute and communicate and lead. Revenue and EPS must grow at 30 or 40% per year minimum.

The references you sight to other companies are interesting. I consider those companies to be mostly garbage with even worse products, people, and management than VirTra.

Now take it one step further. IF police budgets and funding is a problem then why doesn't VirTra simply provide the financing? Not too tough to get a $30mil line of credit and make a few percent extra here and there. One rarely has to worry about municipal defaults.
