I wanted you to name one or two that rely on TA. Doesn't seem hard.

Stock selection was fairly minor in Buffett's success over 60 years although few people know that. He would have done fabulously using an index fund (as I have for 30 years).

Two things drove BRK's great success: 1) He's almost always pretty fully invested; 2) He consistently uses free leverage from his vast insurance holdings.

Another thing: Buffett has been very good over 60 years in avoiding garbage fad stocks. He missed most of the very best stocks during that period... such as Exxon/Standard Oil. He totally avoided a lot of tech blow outs, especially during the dot com collapse.
