I think he's somewhat right that boards are influential. I've gotten stock investment/trading ideas from message boards. I recently read a book about day trading and the author (one of the 15% who try who can actually make money day trading) says a community of support is vital for success. So, while we don't really have any day traders (although we might have had some small players last week due to the increased volume, probably the kind in the 85% that lose money), traders DO use message boards to post up their real time trades. I visit the Swing Traders forum here on ihub frequently and have gotten ideas from there. Virtra has been mentioned on there several times (some by me). When I'm researching a stock to buy based on fundamentals, I search on ihub for information from other posters. Although you do have to be a judge of character because there are certainly some posters that are just full of poop.

Are any institutional traders coming on here for advice? No. But, Virtra is still so small that even a group of retail traders/investors could have a meaningful impact on the stock price.
