The same thing had been done with PCBM, but on a much smaller scale. Casavant wasn't exactly brilliant, but his idea to promote CMKX with NASCAR sponsorships was a stroke of genius. Inadvertent--I think he decided to do it simply because he liked going to the races, and thought it'd be even more fun if he were a sponsor--but a stroke of genius nonetheless.
