Discovery of new levels of scientific knowledge that change the trial structure is not a "miss".

IMO, this point you make helps explain some/most of any back-forth between sponsor(AVXL) and FDA on Rett IND. We may never know for certain but we can speculate that the "Precision" process is doing what it should be doing, it is raising the bar. Another important consideration is no one has ever done this before. The term "Untreatable" is applied in the CNS disease space every day. The FDA and all BP have failed completely to after decades of their "best" efforts, etc.. The risks do not get any higher in investment.
