Why would anyone think that in researching the case prior to ruling on the argument that the judge did consult with FINRA/SEC lawyers?

I'd say that argument is VERY unlikely!

it is clear in his ruling, saying 'Asher isn't bound by sec/finra regulations', that he does know not the regs. civil law court judge in way over his head. dbmm takes this to federal and shuts out asher once and for all imo
