I would have thought better results with the Ocroft method.

Question:

How much does a security have to pull back percentage wise to trigger the sale? Would reducing that improve results?

How much does it need to RISE to get a buy? Same question?

I played around with a 13/30 MA crossover as a signal. Is what you tested tighter or looser than that?

All and all, even though I liked the concept, it seemed to fussy ( to much work) for me unless I just did it by the seat of my pants and then it felt like I was missing trades.

Having said that it has sort of worked by luck if I had no funds to buy or sold call options and needed to wait for them to expire before I could sell.

Take the road less traveled. It will make all the difference.
