OT THANKS My wife Carol’s cancer-surgery went well this week. She is very tired but in amazingly good spirits. We will know Wednesday if additional surgery will be required soon. Then will come aggressive chemotherapy (to knock out any loose cancer cells that may be floating around her body) and specific radiation in the primary breast cancer area.

I have printed and shared with Carol the 50 or so messages (and e mail’s I’ve received) this week from our IDCC “investor family” here on Jim Lurgio’s board. (Even our IHub board administrator, Bob, posted a supportive message.) Carol and I have been encouraged at your many expressions of prayer and personal support. She asked to keep them handy. Carol says she knows your prayers have been very beneficial in the strong healing progress she already is experiencing.

I think perhaps Carol was amazed that an Internet-based investment board could be expressive of such personal care and concern. I have read and reread the posts and emails!

This IDCC IHub message board community is surely the best in the world! Not only is important information made available here, but insights and commentary from our very talented posters. This is obviously not a faceless business information source – this board is the collective voice of real people who care about each other and our families.

I keep thinking that this is the Internet at its best. We benefit from the energetic discussion here on issues related to IDCC and wireless – and we have also developed healthy personal ties with each other. There’s a great deal of poisonous stuff on the Internet – how marvelous it is to see the Net used here in such a positive way!

As I indicated earlier, I will have much less time to devote to IDCC research while Carol continues her course of treatment over the coming 3 or 4 months. I will still follow the board as best I can and hopefully I’ll be able to update the IDCC report on WirelessLedger.com periodically as well. (Great stuff this week on IDCC’s forceful response to Nokia!)

I am filled with deep gratitude to all who visit here regularly. Your continued prayers and support are greatly appreciated by both Carol and me (and our sons, Lee and Kim, who help me with WirelessLedger).
