Well thank you, but...

My results are barely above the S&P index performance of the year.

By actively managing my accounts, I strive to do better than if I were to simply invest in a S&P index fund and sit back and watch. I didn't accomplish that this year.

At one point during the third quarter of this past year, I was on a path towards a 35-40% return for the year, but the forth quarter conspired against me and my return for the forth quarter was nearly flat.

All in all, I am pleased, I learned a lot, I am still learning, and believe I am in a good position going into 2018 to do better.
