Meirluc, I agree with most of what you say. It sounds like a plausible line of thought. My main point of disagreement, is the target of the coming publication. It is not the FDA. They want something they can call proof from the trial per the protocol, not from some plausible deductions that might be made from good but blinded info. The FDA is only interested in unblinded data.

The proper and likely target of the publication is the investing public who will hopefully be persuaded by the plausible deductions and push up the share price significantly and give financial life to a stock on its last legs, until such time as they can publish the final unblinded data to which the FDA will definitely pay attention.
