I'm expecting a very aggressive attack by the bashers in the days leading up to the delisting hearing. This will be one of the most important battles of their "Holy War" against GTE. I do not exaggerate. They are fanatics. Look at the Yahoo and RB boards - the same people have been bashing for years. Do not let them discourage you; every sale brings them one step closer to victory. They want to drive down the shareprice to a penny. All this bashing of course is concomitant with the moves the shorts/manipulators from the banks, hedge funds or our competitors might be making. Watch the buys and sells very very closely in the next few days and you'll likely witness manipulation of the worst kind. Hopefully GTE's lawyers will take note of all this and present it to the Amex board so they can see for themselves the assault GTE has long been under. I think it's very possible that Seth Jayson, Chris Byron or the lawyers involved in the suits may drop a bomb in a few days, since GTE getting delisted might bolster their case. I also think it is important that we don't inundate the Amex with phone calls as this might only annoy them and make GTE look even worse in their eyes. If, however you have any business expertise and some brilliant ideas for tactics or strategies to use to win the hearing, let GTE management know as soon as possible! Maybe we can all put our heads together and figure something out. I hope and pray we win this hearing! GO GTE! God bless America!
