As AVXL did not find clear signals

You make some interesting points, Anavex could definitely be in line with an early approval, with all the prior results and the changes that are underway in the new FDA approval process.
But as to clear signals not being presented; here's a few, multiple patients showing signs of recovery, increases in P 300 signals, MMSE scores, ADL scoring, safety profile, and unexpected results showing the tip of the iceberg.
Management is digging deep to make sure the results and announcements are bullet proof, that the 5.2 million shares short will have one heck of a time covering.
Just imagine, the share price jumps to 1K over night, how much money the shorts are going to lose. Might there be some consolidation in some of the hedge funds, or brokerage houses? Market markers losing their jobs, will the Fed have to step in to cover?
